In a recent interview with French publication, LeMonde,  producer Eiji Aonuma shared some more information about the upcoming Nintendo title. He gave some insight on weapons and shrines in the upcoming game.

Aonuma told that, weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will have a durability setting. It’ll decide how long it could be used throughout the game. This feature was seen as a means of progression by the developers at Nintendo.

But more interestingly, Aonuma said that the game is going to feature more than a hundred shrines. These won’t usually be very long and unlike previous entries, these will not necessarily have a forest theme. However, some of them are still said to be bigger and longer.

The game hits store shelves this March 3rd for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. You can read more about the Nintendo Switch here.
