Destiny 2 Guide: Loot-A-Palooza And Dance Party Keys Explanation

Two of the most mysterious items in the game are Loot-A-Palooza And Dance Party Keys. They appear in the game under certain conditions. The following guide will explain these two keys in the game but do note that the guide contains spoilers.

LOOT-A-PALOOZA KEY

Complete the Leviathan Raid. Investigate the loot chest at the end to get a small chance of the item to drop. It is extremely rare to get this item and based on RNG (Random Number Generator). If you get it, go to Dead Orbit in the tower and behind the base to the small set of stairs. Access the console on the wall at the far end.

This will trigger a Public Event with the words ‘Cayde-6 has dropped treasure chests in the Tower. Have at ’em!’. Follow the markers. You have a time limit here so pick your route carefully. Only the person who used this key will trigger the event to receive the Dance Party Key.

DANCE PARTY KEY

You can use this key in three places – in each of the three Faction Rally bases across the Tower. If you have aligned yourself with of those three factions, use this key at that console. Do this to start a Dance Party at the location. A chest will also spawn giving your Legendary and Exotic gear.
