Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the third installment in the Black Ops story arc. The game is developed by Treyarch. It brings back the zombies in The Giant Zombies bonus map which seems promising. The famous Nuk3town map is also present in the game’s season pass. Black Ops III is set around 40 years after its predecessor.
People are eagerly waiting to download the game will be a bit disappointed to know about the whopping 47 GB download size on PC. The game is a hit among the critics but users have complained about many issues they are facing while playing the game. But that’s another thing. Today we show you how to reduce the download size from 47 GB to a smaller 20 GB file size. There’s no trick behind this. The idea is to download the game in parts. The parts which you want to play first will be downloaded.
Note that this tutorial works only for the Steam version. Follow the steps below to download Black Ops 3 in under 20 GB.
- Open your Steam Library
- Select Call of Duty: Black Ops III
- Below Achievements bar, look for DLC. Here you will be able to select the parts you want to download first.
- Select you desired part and untick all others. For example, select Zombies. Then the game should start installing.
- Note that the size gets reduced from 47 GB to 19.3 GB. (Zombies)
- Done! Enjoy.
