Gears of War 4 update for Xbox One and PC adds two new maps and 280 cards to the Series 2 package. Microsoft revealed in Xbox Wire that the two new maps will be Blood Drive and Clocktower. The Gears of War 4 update is scheduled to go live at 0 AM PT / 1 PM ET.

Players already having the season pass, can play both the maps once the patch goes live and available in game’s Developer Playlist. Rest of all need to wait till Jan 17 for the patch to enter the public multiplayer map rotation.

Gears of War 4 patch also adds 280 new cards, including 13 new character cards, and more than 260 weapon skins across 13 skin sets. That includes the Lightning skin and the Chillin weapon set.

Well the season pass owner have more to rejoice. Microsoft announced the Series 2 Airdrop and free Bounty Gear Pack every Friday. So from Jan 13, you can get the pack which has 20 Gear Packs including 60 random Series 2 cards. Eligible players will receive the Airdrop on January 13.
