How to fix Smite Errors: Crash, HirezUIlauncher has stopped working, Net Framework Issue and more

#1 Crash during startup/black screen/failed to launch fix:

If you are one of those whose game is crashing at launch, you need to apply the following fixes to make your game running.

  • Players whose game is crashing at start must update their video card drivers. We suggest users to do a clean install of the graphic card drivers by downloading from the official website.
  • If you have downloaded the Steam version of Smite, we suggest you to verify the integrity of game cache to avoid such problems.
  • Laptop users should use the dedicated GPU instead of the integrated one like Intel HD.

#2 Cannot find the hi-rez installation fix:

If you are getting a similar to this, you probably don’t have it installed. Simply go to

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SMITE\Binaries\Redist

From there, run hirezservice and try to run the game after that. And also make sure you are running Smite as administrator.

#3 HirezUIlauncher has stopped working fix:

This is solved by downloading and installing the latest version of Patcher Tool. You can get it from the official site of the game.

#4 Dot Net Framework Initialization error in Smite fix:

This error occurs when you are on Windows 7 or below. You need to install the Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 or above to run the game. However we recommend you to upgrade your OS to Windows 10 to solve most of the issues.

In case you are still facing problems, feel free to ask in the comments. We will try our best to fix the issues you are having to run Just Cause 3. And we will keep updating this page with solutions as new issues are faced by the Smite players.
