  2. Then type the command : devmgmt.msc
  3. Click OK or press Enter

  6. Then right-click on the faulty USB device which will be marked with a yellow exclamation mark
  7. Select Properties
  8. Navigate to General , the to Device Status

  10. Now go to Device Manager, then Universal Serial Bus Controller
  11. Right-click on Generic USB Hub
  12. Select Update driver software
  13. Then Browse my computer for driver software
  14. Choose the Generic USB Hub
  15. Then click Next
