Introversion Software’s next game is called Scanner Sombre and it will be out by next week. Even though the developers have spent over 6 years in development on Prison Architect, this game will not take nearly as long.

Scanner Sombre is a first person game in which the world around you is completely invisible. But, using a special scanner you can send thousands of points of light around you revealing that location and the landscape around you.

The light points light the world in your visor as a rainbow color world which is cleverly used to indicate different things like height, depth and distance.

If you’re excited about the game, and think it’s worth checking out, you’ll have to wait for the release next week.
