If there’s a video game the entire gaming community is waiting for, it has to be Death Stranding. Hideo Kojima, took the world by storm last year when he first released the trailer of the game.

The trailer featured The Walking Dead star, Norman Reedus in an unknown landscape filled with weird things. Not long after, a second trailer was dropped that featured Guillermo del Toro and Mads Mikkelsen. Yes, the Dr. Strange star has a role in Death Stranding.

The trailer showed Mads’ character as somewhat of a villain judging by the appearance. Now, in response to a fan’s query recently, Mikkelsen said that his character is not “bad” after all. He said:

“Not a villain. I’m a character in there,”

“You can kind of decide what he is. Not a villain, that’s it.”

This opens up interesting new theories and speculations regarding the game’s storyline. Could he be like the multi-dimensional character from Skull Face in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? Skull Face is revealed to be a villain but has got his own reasons and fans could actually empathize with him.
