Bandages and first aid kits get you back to 75% health. The former takes more time but the latter works after 7 seconds. Recommended strategy is to use bandages if you get wounded early in the game and save those medkits for use in the later stages.

Now, for the grenades. Frag grenades are smaller than smoke or stun ones and hence take up less space in your inventory than them. In PUBG, it is possible to put the pin back in the grenade if you change your mind of using it.
