The M21 Shotgun is a powerful weapon in the game and it is recommended to get it asap.

1. Go to the main hall of the building where you met the Baker family.
2. Go into the cellar with the slime monsters.
3. Find the Scorpion key there sticking out of a piece of meat.
4. Use this key to unlock the recreation room (up the stairs from the main hall) and find a broken shotgun there.
5. Now, take the shotgun from the statue downstairs and replace it with the broken one.
6. Escape via the opened door. You need to fix this broken shotgun.
7. Look under the porch after you escape from the yard to find a removable metal part.
8. There’s a box with a repair kit just behind it.
9. Use it to repair the broken shotgun.
