The controversy surrounding No Man’s Sky continues. One of the big features of this dynamically generated game is that if you’re the first player to discover a planet, animal or plant, you get to name it, and following that, every player will see that name attached to that discovery.

Now, some players are reporting that their some of their custom No Man’s Sky discovery names are being erased, essentially putting the planet, animal or plant on a pre-discovery state. This might have something to do with a limited number of things a player can name, or that they’re using inappropriate names.

Developer Hello Games has yet to comment on the issue, but they should come out with a statement unless they want even more hate coming their way.
