As we get closer to the Battlefield 1 release, EA is giving gamers things related to the franchise for free as part of their “Road to Battlefield 1” campaign. Right now, the Battlefield 4 DLC “China Rising” is available for free on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

While it’s currently only an offer for Microsoft systems, EA will probably release it for free on PC and PlayStation systems soon, as they did with the Battlefield Hardline DLC they gave away previously.

Battlefield 1 releases in October for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A public beta for the title will begin “this summer”, which most likely means next month.
