To view your current assignments, press the middle button on the Dualshock 4 or the back button on the Xbox One controller to open up the notebook. These assignments help you get more powerful weapons, for example, the Tesla gun.

In the beginning, it is recommended to spend your Jolt points to get better weapons instead of unlocking areas of the map. Get the double barrel shotgun early on. It’s quite effective against the zombie horde. If you run out of ammo at any point, go back to where you got that weapon and purchase ammo for it.

In the lobby screen, you will get to pick your character. Each character has their own special ability which they can be use once the meter is fills up. Play each character once to see which one suits you to take on the zombie horde. You can also open up any zombie loot crates you got in the lobby screen. These provide useful items.

The game allows you to self-revive when you are down. If you are in a downed state for too long, you will bleed out and die so use the self-revive as soon as possible.

The Mystery Box costs 1,000 Jolts which grants you one random weapon and you get the option of either taking it or discarding it. If at anytime, the Insta-Kill icon pops up, use it as that melee attack saves you ammo and grants you with a bigger Jolts payout.
