The first Dark Souls 3 DLC, titled “Ashes of Ariandel” has been released today, October 25, on all systems the game runs on. Publisher Bandai Namco put out a slick launch trailer for it. Watch it, and you’ll want to play it.

Ashes of Ariandel costs $15, and can be bought in a bundle with the second (as of now, unannounced) DLC for $25. The DLC is all about the snowy wasteland of Ariandel, where there’s an evil force the player must conquer. As is to be expected, the DLC features new weapons, armor sets and magic.
