The 2016 edition of the Evolution Championship Series, better known as EVO 2016, started yesterday, July 15 and will continue until Sunday, July 17. It’s a fighting game competition that takes place in Las Vegas and reunites elite gamers from around the world. This year, Street Fighter V is the star, but there are plenty of other games to compete in.
EVO started in 2016, which makes this year the 20th anniversary of the event. All the main fighting game franchises make up this year’s tournament: Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, Mortal Kombat X and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
All matches will be live-streamed on Twitch. Some happen at the same time, though, so users will have to decide what they want to watch. We have embedded a stream here below for your enjoyment.
