How to Unlock New Heroes

Open up Llama packs from the Loot section in the main menu. You can earn these packs by completing quests to earn special Vbucks which can be used to purchase Llama packs. If you do not own the Deluxe, Super-Deluxe or the Limited-Edition version of the game, you will be spending some time with the basic soldier class but that is how it should be. Get familiar with the game first and then start experimenting.

Now, for the description of each class.

This is for those who enjoy building. Your home base is the biggest area where you build. Here you protect your Storm Shield. This class is high on defence so it can soak up a lot of damage. You can also build buildings quicker and they are cheaper as well. But the biggest con here is its extremely low offence and the damage dealt is not nearly as high as other classes.

This class has a good melee attack, super-fast movement speed and deals a lot of damage with melee weapons like swords. But its defence is too low. You can also use guns and have a useful double jump ability which helps a lot to evade enemies. This class is great for exploring and moving quickly but stand in one place and you are a goner.

Soldier class deals a lot of damage quickly and can use grenades, mines and explosive gadgets. It also has a good defence. As the class is very well-rounded, it is difficult to specialise here. It also does not have any bonuses for building. This class is good for beginners but if you play against hardcore pros, you are gonna have a tough time in this class alone. This class is the most basic.

This class specialises in exploring and finding rare loot which is great for filling up the inventory with some of the game’s best schematics. But this class has a low defence and offence which means you will need to rely on your fellow party members for your defence and offence. But you can find treasure chests and other hidden loot much easier and you can also make use of the fragments situated around each map to call in things like Supply Llamas and other useful technology to assist the team. So, this class is more of a support type and any good team should have a good Outlander Class.
