As per CNBC, it is reported that companies like Google and Salesforce and others may be on the way to buy Twitter. However no formal bids have been made by any company as of now.

As this sale news surfaced, Twitter’s share price increased 20 percent and is continuing up steadily.

It is rumoured that tech giants like Microsoft may be also interested. According to CNBC, close sources hinted that the interested companies may have more interest in Twitter’s data than its reach as a social media network.
