There is some good, in fact very good, news for all the fan of the players-versus-AI Firefight mode in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. The fans not only lost a direct equivalent to it in Halo 4 or Halo 5 and didn’t even get it back with the remastered ODST from the Master Chief Collection.

So here comes the good news. 343 Industries has finally bringing back something much awaited. Halo 5 is bringing back the much awaited Firefight mode. As part of a content roadmap, it is reported that the Firefight is coming to Halo 5 in some months. Firefight will will be arriving through a new mode, Warzone Firefight.

Although the developer hasn’t spoke much about the details much but we should get your fix of players-versus-environment gameplay similar to how you fight off “common foes.” The date of it release is not yet announce. But all those fans can wait happily as the launch will give you a good reason to keep playing well though Halo 5’s lifespan.
