Now to navigate to the corrupted Save Game folder (C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\id Software/DOOM/base/savegame.user/xxxxxxx/GAME-AUTOSAVE0).
Now look for the files that start with checkpoint. You need to delete all EXCEPT these files starting wotj checkpoint.
Now go back to folder where you have kept a working savegame that WORKS. From here copy all the files EXCEPT the one starting with checkpoint and paste them in the corrupted savegame folder.
