Injustice 2 is speculated to be released in 2017, the game developers NetherRealm Studios have had this game in production for some time now, the game release date is not yet confirmed but instead of the vague dates given by the developers it seems most likely that the game will be out in early 2017.

The Action-Fighting game Injustice had been a fan favorite but, with the release of the sequel Injustice 2, the fan favorite-ism isn’t going to change, the game will had much more features and character reworks including characters like Harley Quinn. It will also feature a looting system, adding great depth the game.

This is possibly the biggest change of this sequel. NetherRealm decided to introduce a loot system which provides players with both cosmetic and functional equipment rewards after their matches, the idea being that each player will then be able to customize a character like Batman or Superman to make it truly unique in both aesthetics and skill set. According to NetherRealm there should be over a thousand options for each character in each category like chest, legs, arms and cape; of course, there will be a matchmaking filter for those who are only interested in playing with the non-geared version of characters.

Injustice 2 will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox one, more information will be provided so stay tuned.
