In the game, you will meet Kilton, who is the traveling monster merchant. You need to kill monsters and collect monster parts like tails, bones, eyes, horns, etc. You can then use them to trade with Kilton as he only trades in monster parts. So to get dark link costume too, you need to trade the following monster pars:

 

  • Dark Hood (3 defense): 1,999 mon
  • Dark Trousers (3 defense): 999 mon
  • Dark Tunic (3 defense): 999 mon

How to get Monster Parts Quickly

  • You have to fight Hinox (giant cyclops creatures) and Lynel (centaurs that are end-game enemies).
  • From Hinox, you will get:
    • 4-5 Hinox Toenails -sell for 18 mon per drop.
  • From Lynel you will get:
    • Guts (100 mon)
    • Horns (20 mon)
    • Hoofs (30 mon)

Hinox and Lynel can be found in the Akkala region. You can also try taking Kilton side quests.

Finally when you collect all three pieces of the Dark Link costume, you will get Night Speed Up set bonus. This will help Link to move faster at night.
