The long-awaited Mafia 3 launches today, October 7, on PS4, Xbox One and PC. PC players were disappointed yesterday leading up to release as developer 2K the game would be locked at 30 FPS there like it is on consoles. Now, however, 2K has announced a patch that includes 30, 60 and unlimited FPS options in the game.

This PC patch is testing now and should begin to roll out during the weekend. Mafia 3 is the sequel to 2010’s Mafia 2, which is a long wait. The official Mafia Twitter tweeted a picture of a letter thanking fans for remaining loyal and waiting so long for the game.
