2K and Hangar 13 have released a new video in a series of Mafia 3 developer diaries which discusses “the richness of the world of New Bordeaux.” Lead World Designer Nathan Cheever talks how they created the authentic feel of the 1960 New Bordeaux (New Orleans) and what thoughts went behind that.
Art Director David Smith claims the game makes you truly feel what it likes to be in that setting and what happens when one walks down the wrong path. Further System’s Designer Seth Rosen describes the game as “truly open world” and alive.
Mafia 3 hits stores this October 7 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The PC requirements for the game was released recently.
