Titanfall 2

No Nintendo Switch Release Planned for Titanfall 2

Nintendo’s next generation console is all set to make a debut this year with hundreds of titles planned from various publishers.

The recent generations of Nintendo’s consoles haven’t been very successful at sales at the Japanese manufacturer aims to change the game with the new hardware.

However, there’s some bad news coming from Electronics Art regarding the release of their latest shooter on the console. Respawn Entertainment, developer of Titanfall franchise, has confirmed that Titanfall 2 won’t be making its way to the console. Mohammad Alavi of Respawn confirmed the news in a recent interview. Read what he had to say about the console:

F**k no! No, you’re not going to be able to fit Titanfall 2 on the Nintendo Switch. That’s the same Zelda from the Wii U?

I was excited about it. Nintendo’s been in such a niche market recently, catering to the handheld and the kids, they’ve been so underpowered that they don’t have the support of the third parties because they’re all making for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, and it’s no different.

This news comes to no one’s surprise as Titanfall 2 itself hasn’t been very successful on PC,PS4 and Xbox One either. Developing a heavily customized port for another console won’t make much sense.
