Sony announced this Monday that subscription prices for Playstation Plus will be going up; the 12-month subscription is gonna cost $60 and the 3-month subscription will go up to $25. The monthly plan will remain the same at $10. These new prices will be effective starting September 22.

This is the first time the Playstation Plus prices have gone up since it launched in 2010. “The new pricing reflects the current market conditions while enabling us to continue providing exceptional value to our members”, reads the post in the Playstation Blog where the announcement was made.
