Even though Dishonored 2 was a great success for the most part, the PC port of the game was a train wreck when it first released. Although future patches and updates did fix it, it put off a lot of the fans and hurt its initial image for the PC gaming community.

With Prey’s release so close, Arkane’s president Raphael Colantonio said in conversations with Gamespot said that they are working for a smooth PC port at launch; “we doubled our thoroughness in making sure that the game is going to run smoothly”.

While a lot of gamers are ready to take out their wallets in honor of Prey release on May 5th, it’s a great relief that the port will possibly be well-optimized.
