You may find out that the firewall setting is creating some issues or the changes you made are not working properly. Then it would be wise to restore Windows firewall settings to the default. Reset Windows Firewall Settings to Defaults

  1. Open the File Explorer.
  2. Now in the address bar, paste this: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall.
  3. Once you are in the Windows Firewall section, you will find the Restore defaults option on the left pane.
  4. Click it.
  5. Now in the new window that opens, click on the Restore defaults button.
  6. When prompted, click ‘Yes’ to confirm.

That’s it. Now all the Windows Firewall settings will be reset/ restored to the default values.
