Rocket League development studio Psyonix took to Twitter to announce their game hit the 19 million player mark. It’s impressive, because when the game became one year old on July 8, the developers released some milestones the game had reached, among which was the fact that the game had reached 18 million players. Less than two weeks after that announcement, the game collected another million players.
And the craze doesn’t seem to be stopping. A Collector’s Edition was recently released, which surely helped boost its player numbers. The game deserves it, though, it’s incredibly fun and its mechanics are much more complex than a lot of people realize.
Congrats everyone! We’ve officially reached 19 million players for Rocket League! We are humbled by your passion. Thank you!
