The PlayStation Slim was released about a year ago and was half the size of the original PlayStation 4. But, Sony has yet to make it even smaller with the possibility of an even smaller version according to the report of a Taiwanese newspaper Digitimes.

This report also mentions the Nintendo Switch shipment amount and the Xbox Scorpio as well. The Scorpio is reportedly being produced by the same companies -Pegatron Technology and Flextronics- which produced the previous Xbox models.

Microsoft’s game console is reportedly manufactured by Pegatron Technology and Flextronics and the orders are expected to become a key revenue contributor to Pegatron in the second half

The report does not fully mention whether the possible slim-down is of the original PS4 or the PlayStation 4 pro. But, by our estimations it is more likely to be the PlayStation PRO.

Though this is not officially confirmed, we should expect SONY to release something to answer the violently-powerful Xbox Scorpio in any case.
