SEGA’s Financial Situation is Improving in 2016

Add SEGA to the list of gaming companies that have released their financial results for the period going from April 1st to June 30th, 2016. Sales for the quarter for Sonic the Hedgehog’s house were $692 million, which is a 33 percent increase over the same time period last year. The biggest news, however, is the overall profit: $30 million, while in 2015 SEGA reported a $93 million loss.

The company remarked Phantasy Star Online 2’s launch on PS4 as a strong point for them. And if that weren’t enough, the company has two major Sonic the Hedgehog titles in the pipeline: Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017.
