Titanfall 2 How to Slide and Quickly Cover Large Distances

Sliding can be used on the edges of walls or rooftops to cover large distances quickly. A proper use of the slide movement can also be used to take down enemies whilst in the air.

Use slide as much as possible as that will disrupt your enemy’s aim and you will not lose your own aim as well. Sliding has a downside though. It reduces your speed boost till a small cooldown period. So, properly time your slides and avoid not having the speed boost when you require it the most.

For getting to the pro level of sliding, master the following technique. Gain up some momentum using a wall or two and hop on them. In mid-air, press the button for crouch. This will make you slide as soon as you hit the ground. This will gain you additional momentum.
