Twitch has announced a way those small time streamers can get big, with their latest announcement on Twitch forum, new reforms which allow smaller streams to earn money even when they are building their audiences.

audiences will be able to cheer during the stream and throw bits at the streamer, each bit for a streamer with the affiliate will receive 1 cent.

Bits won’t be the main way of earning money, stream will also provide a set of advertising and business tools to affiliates as well as a basic subscription version.

eligible channels requirements:

• At least 500 total minutes broadcast in the last 30 days
• At least 7 unique broadcast days in the last 30 days
• An average of 3 concurrent viewers or more over the last 30 days
• At least 50 Followers
