The sequel to WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Sports. It is available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One at present. It is the eighteenth game under the name WWE and the fourth under the WWE 2K banner. Featuring Brock Lesnar in the cover photo, this game promises to provide a very realistic WWE experience, be it a superstar or a manager.
This guide will show how to unlock every achievement in the game.
Note that this guide is for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. This guide may not be the same for the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of the game.
WWE 2K17 Achievements Guide Part 1
In MyCareer mode, the player can create his own superstar and make his way from a rookie in NXT to the fame and fortune of a Wrestlemania main event. Follow these tips to boost your popularity:-
- The Excitement Multiplier is a key component here, it is the buzz you are generating within the WWE Universe. You can see it in the character section of the main MyCareer menu. You want it to be hot, not cold.
- Make sure to always finish matches with a rating of 4 or higher. Make sure to buy and equip new moves as soon as they become available to build up a good rating in a match.
- Select appropriate responses while doing promos according to the wrestler’s personality (Heel/Face) and the mood of the crowd (Respectful, Disrespectful, Family Friendly and Hardcore). Buy and equip the Taunt and Staredown Abilities to make this task easier.
- Changing T-shirts every week adds to the Excitement Multiplier. Make sure to do that.
- Perform a run-in every week except when you are in a rivalry. Win the run in and see the Excitement Multiplier go up. Avoid run-ins on tag teams as a 2 on 1 situation for you in the beginning isnt ideal.

MyCAREER – Complete the tutorial.
Finish up at the training facility and graduate to NXT.
Welcome to the main roster (15)
MyCAREER – Complete your first match in RAW or SmackDown.
Once you get in the main roster, just finish one match on either Raw (Mondays) or Smackdown (Tuesdays).
Big Four (15)
MyCAREER – Participate in WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series.
To get to compete in these ppvs, you must graduate to the main roster and achieve enough popularity.
Birth of an NXT Champion (15)
MyCAREER – Earn the NXT Championship.
Do poorly on purpose in the training phase of your career. Then you will be drafted to nxt and not to the main roster. Select Rankings from the main MyCareer menu and see where you stand. You need to climb up the rankings to become the number 1 contender for the NXT Championship.
Birth of an IC Champion (15)
MyCAREER – Earn the Intercontinental Championship.
Birth of a US Champion (15)
MyCAREER – Earn the United States Championship.
Birth of a Tag Champion (15)
MyCAREER – Earn the Tag Championship.
We have a new Champion! (30)
MyCAREER – Win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Untouchable (30)
MyCAREER – Get an overall value of 95 or more.
Boost your wrestler’s attributes for this purpose. Spend VC points to boost these attributes. Every stat must be maxed out to reach the rating of atleast 95. Boost your VC points gain by doing promos on every show, completing Authority challenges and equipping new t-shirts on your superstar.

MyCAREER – Purchase all abilities that can be purchased.
Go to the abilities menu. There are 36 in total to buy. It costs around 300,000 VC to get them all.

MyCAREER – Purchase all skills that can be purchased.
Go to the skills menu which allows you to perform special moves in the ring. There are a total of 44 to buy which costs VC points.
