Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival video game developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games and published by Epic Games. The game was released as an early access title on 25 July 2017 for Microsoft Windows, mac, PS4 and Xbox One. The full free-to-play game is expected to be released sometime in 2018. The game is about exploration, scavenging items, crafting weapons, building fortified structures and fighting waves of encroaching monsters. There are many different classes of heroes in this game. This guide will focus on the ninja class.
Fortnite Guide: Class Guide-Ninja Class
BASE SKILLS
- Assassination: Dealing sword damage applies the Assassination ability, which further increases sword damage by 5%; this effect lasts 5 seconds
- Dragon Slash: Springs forward and deals damage to all enemies within a half tile along the line of attack
- Shinobi: The fall damage decreases.
- Smoke Bomb: Create a cloud of gas that slows enemies and deals damage for the duration of the cloud
- Throwing Stars: Three damaging stars gets thrown very quickly one after the other. There is a cool down period before it can again be used to throw stars.
- Long-Sassin: Increases duration of your Assassination from 5 seconds to 11 seconds per hit
- Mantis Leap: Capable of doing a second jump while already jumping. But energy is consumed in this.
SKIRMISHER SUBCLASS
- Trained Throw: Reduces energy cost of Throwing Stars
- Cascade: Throw an additional star when using Throwing Stars
- Rain of Death: Throw yet another star when using Throwing Stars
- Wings of the Dragon: Increases the range of Dragon Slash
- Return of the Dragon: Reduces energy cost of Dragon Slash
- Crescent Kick: Melee attack that causes stun
FLEEFOOT SUBCLASS
- Fleet: Ninja’s base movement speed increases, so you can walk faster.
- Three Mantis Style: The energy cost of Mantis Leap gets reducedconsiderably.
- Soft Landing: All fall damage from Shinobi skill gets reduced significantly.
ASSASSIN SUBCLASS
- Easy Sword: 60% reduction in the cost of sword combo attack energy.
- Praying Mantis: When using Mantis Leap for doing a second jump, the jump height increases.
- Easier Sword: 80% decrease in Sword combo attack energy cost.
