Microsoft’s Xbox Scorpio was one of the biggest surprises at E3 2016. They announced a smaller and powerful console called Xbox One S and also a more powerful Xbox Project Scorpio.

This new console aims to be the most powerful console ever made. It boasts a processing power of 6 teraflops while PlayStation Neo features a less powerful 5.5 teraflops GPU. Microsoft aims to achieve native 4K rendering with Xbox Scorpio.

Now, Tiago Sousa, an employee of id Software who recently worked on DOOM reboot has shared his opinion on Microsoft’s bold new move. According to Sousa, applying 4K resolution is a waste of resources based on Project Scorpio specifics. Read his comment below.
