The Nopon vendor sells Gormotti Walnut for 10,000 gold a piece. That is a lot of money and you mostly wont have that much. Or you can get a Muscle Branch and trade it to the vendor for the Walnut. The quest rewards you with two unrefined Aux cores – Evasion Focus 1 and Emergency Guard 1 which are two handy items so it is recommended to finish this quest.

At the entrance of the town of Torigoh, Siorge, the carpenter will ask you to rescue his son, Pawli, at the Waytree. There, you will have to fight 3 level 9 Nabadan Gogol. Fight one at a time as taking on all three at once will most likely get you killed. If you come back later, it will be easier to fight with the whole group. Once you rescue Pawli, he will ask you to find some Confusion Ivy. Walk around the plains and look for collection points near trees. The Confusion Ivy is quite common so you should have no problem finding it.

Now, the carpenter needs a Gormotti Walnut. Follow the quest marker till you reach a cloud filled hole. Swim in it to go up a spiral pathway which takes you up to Mokumoku. He will sell the walnut for 10,000 gold and you need three so the deal is out of the picture.

From collection points near trees or timber, Muscle Branch is a random drop. It is a rare material and glows yellow when dropped. The best spot is at Nocclia Timber Site. Discover it to be able to Skip Travel to it. A collection point near a boy named Otto is where you should start farming. Loot the points, teleport back to Nocclia Timber Site and the points will respawn. Loot them till you get three Muscle Branch. Now, go back to the vendor and get three Gormotti Walnuts.
