One of the biggest trade show is back once again. The dates and times regarding CES 2018 have been released. The show will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on 9 – 12 January, 2018. Consumer Electronics Show 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of the trade show and was a huge success with an attendance of 184,279. This year, we expect to see new products from market leaders once again. According to analysts, curved Televisions, new VR headsets and robots will be the major focus this time around. What to expect at CES 2018?

The biggest annual tech show sees the world’s latest and upcoming technological innovations on display. Key players this time will include Google, Samsung, Sony, LG and Dell. Expect tons of news regarding Google Home and Daydream VR. Sony is also rumored to be presenting its upgraded and enhanced HMD (Head Mounted Display) for the PlayStation VR.

Also, get ready for your first look at the world’s thinnest TVs from Sony’s BRAVIA series and LG’s OLED range. We’ve already seen a boom in the demand for 4K TVs recently. This time will be about 4K and HDR. Dell will be all about computing this year with its upcoming XPS 13 laptop.

If you want information about upcoming smartphones, then CES might not be the best choice. This doesn’t mean we don’t see phones at CES but there aren’t too many. The majority of the smartphone segment is showed off at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona later every year. But the question remains – Will we finally have a look at the highly anticipated Microsoft’s Surface Phone?
