A new agent in Valorant always raises expectations, and here we will talk about Deadeye. A name that has been around for a long time, and that could be closer than we think. In the trailer of the LCQ of Valorant in South America, we can see the image of an unknown character. A photo that fits with the one already had about Deadeye himself.

Deadeye was first heard from in the Valorant Year One Hymn of the Year video, in which posters of him were seen in a room at one point. A scary look, with a large caliber weapon like the Operator and what looks like a glass eye that possibly gives him the skills to be a considerable threat in the game.

This new agent will be available this coming November. And he may be a specialist with the sniper rifle, something that players have been asking for a long time. Soon we will know more about the final identity of Deadeye or Sprinter. Rumor is that he is French.

The final stretch of the season in Valorant

The 2021 season of Valorant is giving its last blows with the confirmation in the last qualifiers of the teams that were missing and those that will not be in the Champions League, the appointment par excellence of the First Person Shooter (FPS) of Riot Games. The equivalent to Worlds marks the end of the season on the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) and will be held in Berlin this coming December.

In addition, VALORANT is creating legends of its own such as Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin, the Russian is considered by many to be the best player in the world and will have a lot to prove in the Champions League after the last major tournament in Berlin.

VALORANT’s new agent Deadeye is a bodyguard who looks like Jhin

On the official Twitter, Riot Games has made announcements about Agent Deadeye. In the past 2 months, Deadeye has been the focus of attention when he is the 17th agent of the game Valorant after KAY/O. Specifically, Deadeye is an agent from France, and Deadeye’s role is a bodyguard, not a confrontational gunman like many previous rumors.

Deadeye will be the 4th Guardian in Valorant after Sage, Cypher, and Killjoy. In theory, the bodyguard is a position with roles and responsibilities similar to support in MOBA games. Accordingly, agents with a trend to guard possess a skill set to serve the defense to the maximum to protect their area and repel enemy attacks.

However, in contrast to Sage, Cypher, and Killjoy, Deadeye’s skillset focuses much on gunplay instead of launching moves. In addition, the appearance of the agent from France is said to be very similar to the general Jhin of League of Legends. Coincidentally, the designer of Deadeye agent August was also involved in the design of Jhin.

Thus, after launching an agent and a starting agent, Riot Games has created a balance when helping the guardian group have one more member, Deadeye. In the Valorant game, there are four main groups of agents: confrontation, control, initiation, and protection. In particular, confrontation is the group with the most agents with five names Jett, Phoenix, Reyna, Raze, and Yoru.

Right behind are the agents starting with Breach, Skye, Sova, and KAY/O. The control agents also have four members: Viper, Omen, Astra, and Brimstone. With the return of Deadeye to a mere gunfight, Riot Games is trying to create a new breath of gameplay when Valorant is still a game that relies heavily on the skill sets of agents.
