In John’s region, head northeast of Fall’s End to the Pumpkin farm.
Then you will find many cultist on the farm. You need to kill all of them.
After you kill all of them, search for Boomer The Dog. Go to the quest marker location to find the dog injured and lying on the floor.
You need to interact with Boomer and revive him. He will run off to find his owners to no avail as they have been killed by the cultists.
