Following the big E3 reveal of Hideo Kojima’s upcoming project, Death Stranding, some details have surfaced.

During a after show YouTube live broadcast, Kojima revealed a few key details related to his upcoming game. Firstly, he confirmed that it’s only him and Norman Reedus with Guillermo Del Toro involvement. Secondly the official logo of Kojima Productions has nothing to do with the game and there’s no secret behind that.

When asked about the game’s genre, Kojima told that it’s going to be an action game similar to the Metal Gear games. However he chose to keep the game’s setting and the lead protagonist name a secret for now.

The game’s production will take “some time” so players should be patient. The game’s related to some of stranding of something which is dead or from another world. The game’s first trailer left us scratching our heads with Reedus’ character on an abandoned beach with everything dead around him. The trailer points to a dark setting with a deep storyline.
