The voice assistant is great to have on iPhone or iPad but on Mac, you may sometimes want to disable Siri. If you wish to turn off Siri from Mac OS, follow the steps provided below.
How to Disable Siri on Mac OS
- Go to Apple menu.
- Then select System Preferences.
- From the control panel options, select Siri.
- Now just uncheck the box next to Enable Siri.
- That’s all you needed to do. Now close System Preferences.
Disabling Siri will remove the menu bar icon, the Dock icon and the Touch Bar icon.
How to Enable Siri on Mac OS
Go to the path to System Preferences mentioned above and check the box next to Enable Siri.
