Both the games were announced for PC back at E3 this year. Since then, we haven’t heard much about them or got a concrete release date.

Although the first Gears of War game was already released on PC once, this new port promises upgraded visuals. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition PC is one of the first games to be built using the new DirectX 12 API. So it might surprise us with its release next year.

Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox recently was asked whether the fans will be getting their hands on these before March 2016. Though not announcing a fixed date, Spencer hinted at an early 2016 release. He said that we won’t have to wait too long to play these titles.

For now, we can only hope for a fixed release window. But on the other hand, nobody wants a buggy and glitch port. So I suggest we give developers their time and produce a worthy port.
