Microsoft announced the latest updates for OneNote. The update comes for Windows, Android, web and iOS.
Here are the new features offered by this new Microsoft OneNote Update:

Audio Recording
The new update added audio recording feature for OneNote Online and iOS (iPhone and iPad). Now you can record audio while taking notes.

Embedded Video
The update adds a new feature ’embedded online video’  for the Windows version. This will allow you to insert your favorite video from Youtube, Vimeo or Office Mix to your notes. For inserting the video, you need to use the ‘Online Video’ button present in the Insert ribbon.
This feature is currently available only for Windows desktop but will soon be released for iOS, OneNote Online, Windows 10 mobile app, Android and Mac

File Attachement
This feature is for OneNote Online. Now you can insert files (Word Documents, PowerPoint prentations, Excel sheets) to your notes by clicking Insert and then File Attachements.

OneNote Badge
Currently available for Android, this feature will let you write quick notes or copy/paste while browsing the web without switching between apps.

Optimized for iPad Pro
The update has optimized OneNote for iPad Pro’s screen resolution and other capabilities.

Force Touch Support for iOS
Finally if you are an iPhone or iPad user, you can just press and hold on the OneNote icon and you will be able to get a menu with options New Photo, New Note and View Recent Notes.
