NBA 2K17 Guide: How to Unlock Badges

The latest in the NBA 2K franchise, NBA 2K17 is a basketball simulation game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It simulates the experience of National Basketball Association (NBA), one of the biggest sporting events in North America. It is the successor to the NBA 2K16 game and is the 18th installment in the NBA 2K franchise.

How to Unlock Badges in NBA 2K17

There are a total of 55 badges to get and each badge impacts either the MyCareer or MyPlayer mode of the game in different ways. It is recommended to get these badges as soon as possible.

How to Unlock: You need to have the highest overall rating on your team.

Spark Plug
How to Unlock: You need to come off the bench with at least 7 points in x amount of games.

Enforcer
How to Unlock: You need to do 10 hard-hitting and non-flagrant fouls in a single season.

Championship DNA
How to Unlock: You need to win an NBA Championship.

Microwave
How to Unlock: You need to have 2 red rings under your player’s for 10 games in a row.

Expressive
How to Unlock: You need to celebrate any time the prompt comes up.

Playmaking Badges

Dimer
How to Unlock: You need to have 300 assists in 20 games.

Lob City Passer
How to Unlock: You need to get 50 ally oops assists in a season.

Ankle Breaker
How to Unlock: You need 200 double move leading to score assists in a single season to get this badge.

Flashy Passer
How to Unlock: You need to make 50 flashy passes in a single season to get this badge.

Pick and Roll Maestro
How to Unlock: You need to go for Dimer, PNR Maestro, and Lob City at the same time. Once done, call for the pick and then double tap Y/Triangle when your big man or pick man cuts to the rim.

How to Unlock: You basically need to get 50 poke ball loose animations to get this badge.

Hustle Rebounder
How to Unlock: It is assumed that you need a total of around 400 rebounds in order to get this badge.

Inside Scoring Badges

Acrobat
How to Unlock: You need to get 15 Reverse Layups and 4 Charge-Shot Layups in a single season to get the badge.

Tear Dropper
How to Unlock: You need a total of 50 Tear Drops or Floaters in a single season in order to get the badge.

Relentless Finisher
How to Unlock: You need to max your strength out and complete 75 Contact Layups to get the badge.

Post Spin Technician
How to Unlock: You need a total of 100 Post Spins or Drive Moves out of the post in a single season to get the badge.

Drop Stepper
How to Unlock: You need to complete a total of 30 Drop Step moves in order to earn this badge.

Dream-Like Up and Under
How to Unlock: While you are in the post, you need to attempt a total of 50 Up and Under moves to get the badge.

Outside Scoring Badges

Corner Specialist
How to Unlock: You need to get 25 corner 3’s in order to get this badge.

Mid-Range Deadeye
How to Unlock: You need a total of 60 highly Contested Jumpshots in order to get this badge.

Limitless Range
How to Unlock: You need to hit 40 deep 3’s and shoot 30% on the last 30 3’s made in order to receive this badge.

Pick and Popper
How to Unlock: You basically need to set a screen, roll out, and pop a 3 in order to get this badge.

Difficult Shots
How to Unlock: You basically need to make a total of around 200 hop shots, step backs, dribble pull ups, etc. in order to receive this badge.

Lob City Finisher
How to Unlock: You need to finish a total of 15 ally oops in a single season to get the badge.

Posterizer
How to Unlock: You basically need to attempt a total of 15 Contact Dunks in a single season.

Brick Wall
How to Unlock: You need to set a total of 100 good screens in a single season.

One Man Fast Break
How to Unlock: You need to score 75 times on a fastbreak in a single season to get the badge.
