Now there is this new and unique web-based emulator. This new emulator transforms 2D NES games into 3D hallucinations. Now that sounds something definitely new. It actually started with reviving the old Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mega Man.

What it did is that it took their traditionally flat visuals and transformed them into a mix of 2D and 3D. The emulator is named 3DNES and it works only with the Firefox browser. The software has been developed by Vietnamese developer Trần Vũ Trúc.

Some games have already been tested to see the 3DNES work to create some mystical hallucinations from the 2D games. Trần Vũ Trúc says

a downloadable Windows version is in the works, and confirms the process he uses should also work for SNES games as well.
