If you had read this in July, you would’ve thought we were jokers. Pokemon GO was the biggest widespread phenomenon in recent memory, but now we’re in August and the story is looking a little different.
Specifically, the Pokemon GO craze is starting to slow down. The AR game has lost over 15 million users since this time last month; the end of July. The game released July 8, so its biggest period was its opening two weeks.
The chart from Axiom Capital Management, published by Bloomberg, only goes up to August 18, so the numbers could be even lower now.
