While you wait for the PS4 Pro to release on November 10, you can pick up the cheaper PS4 Slim as of September 15 in all retailers. It costs $300 and it’s mostly the same as the classic PS4, except it’s 30 percent smaller and more energy efficient. It comes with a 500GB hard drive.
The PS4 Slim is replacing the older PS4 model – meaning, people who already own it shouldn’t upgrade, but new adopters should pick up the Slim instead of the old PS4. The Slim model is meant to compete with the Xbox One S, while the PS4 Pro will battle the upcoming Xbox One Scorpio.
