Google Pixel is considered one of the best smartphones on the market with pricing competitive to that of the iPhone. According to rumors, Google has decided to remove the 3.5mm jack from Pixel 2 and, as we have seen with the iPhone 7 launch, is not something which suits customers well.

The rumor surfaced from 9to5google which says that according to an internal Google document, the Google Pixel 2 will not include a 3.5mm audio jack. These rumors aren’t actually that surprising because of the fact that the previous Google Pixel lacked water-resistance which is present in the competitor iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy models.

Whenever news surfaces about smartphones removing the 3.5 mm jack with smartphones like with the Galaxy s8, a consumer backlash occurs and is highly criticized upon.
