A recent tweet from Daniel Lingen went live on January 27 igniting the possibility of a new Skate game, Skate 4, from EA.

The tweet was just a brief hashtag that said “#skate4”. Daniel Lingen has been working as a Senior Community Manager at the Electronic Arts. The tweet has since gotten over 10K retweets and 20K likes. This isn’t an official confirmation from EA, so we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.

The last game in the Skate franchise was last released in 2010 for PS3 and the Xbox 360. It was recently added to the list of games in Xbox Backward Compatibility program.
