Did EA just confirm when Star Wars Battlefront 2 is coming out? It would appear so, as the company CFO Blake Jorgensen assured to Polygon: “it’s coming a year from now”. That means Fall 2017. It’s unusual they didn’t announce this in a more impactful and direct way, but maybe they’ll do that when they have a specific date.

Jorgensen also stated: “We’re working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering.” He had said previously that the game would have “bigger and better worlds”. Not much else is known about the game at this point.

Battlefront isn’t the only Star Wars title EA’s got in the pipeline, they’re also working with the Dead Space team on an action/adventure title set in the Star Wars universe.
